Fictional Stories: The learning strategy to mitigates challenges of reading comprehension for university students

چکیده
Reading comprehension is the ability to understand text, decode and infer its meaning according reader’s level of comprehension. Similarly, reading deduce, critique construct attributes hence are intertwined embedded into skill analyse text in general synthesize interpreting your own understanding particular text. Despite this prerequisite skill; there challenges which impede as results paper intimates these using critical theory a conceptual framework. It further employs participatory action research technique whereby participants were purposively sampled interviewed semi-structured interview. Equally, analysed discourse analysis it was established that lack collaborative learning, exposure informational students’ prior knowledge punctuation marks core In brief, contends use fictional stories learning strategy can enhance first year students.
